It May Look Bizarre Now, But Wait Until You See The Rest Of This Fish

Do you remember the scene in Return of the Jedi where Boba Fett is devoured by the sarlac pit? By the looks of the pictures, it might not surprise me if the Northern Star-Gazer fish inspired George Lucas.

It might seem like a terror that existed a long, long time ago in a galaxy far, yet this matter is alive and well right now…and it resides just off the shore of America.

Meet the Star-Gazer — a 2-foot-long fish that likes to spend time on the ocean flooring in this way.

Meet the Northern Stargazer -- a two-foot-long fish that likes to hang out on the ocean floor like this.

That is not a great look.

As you are able to observe, its encounter sits on top of its own head — and maybe not even the fish itself is uncomfortable by it.

As you can see, its face sits at the top of its head -- and not even the fish itself is comfortable with it.

In case your home is in the eastern U.S., watch your action when you see the shore.

If you live in the eastern U.S., watch your step when you visit the beach.

This might even be a picture of me during sex on the week end.

It utilizes electrical shocks to stun its prey, as if its look was not horrifying enough.

As if its appearance wasn't horrible enough, it uses electric shocks to stun its prey.

The pit was large enough to consume several of the guys of Jabba in one, 1000-year long gulp. The Northern Star-Gazer, on the flip side, is in regards to the size of two Subway sandwiches. However, as far as I am concerned, this can be the most frightening creature in our galaxy.
